Beyond Legacy

No Show Policy

No-Show Policy with Inconvenience Fee:

At Beyond Legacy, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that prevent students from attending scheduled course sessions. However, to ensure the smooth operation of our courses and to respect the time and efforts of our instructors and fellow students, we have implemented the following no-show policy, including an inconvenience fee:

1. Attendance Expectations:

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions of their enrolled courses.

2. Notification of Absence:

If a student is unable to attend a session due to unforeseen circumstances, they are required to notify the instructor or course coordinator as soon as possible.

3. Consequences of No-Show:

A "no-show" occurs when a student fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notification. In the event of a no-show:

   - The student may miss valuable course content and learning opportunities.

   - Excessive no-shows may impact the student's ability to successfully complete the course.

   - A no-show fee, also referred to as an inconvenience fee, will be applied to the student's account for each occurrence of a no-show.

4. Inconvenience Fee:

   - An inconvenience fee of $25 will be charged to the student's account for each instance of a no-show.

   - The inconvenience fee is intended to cover administrative costs associated with rescheduling, arranging make-up sessions, or managing the impact of the absence on the course.

5. Make-Up Sessions:

Depending on the course structure and availability, make-up sessions may be offered for missed classes. However, make-up sessions are not guaranteed and will be provided at the discretion of the instructor or course coordinator.

6. Communication:

Open communication between students and instructors is essential. If a student anticipates any challenges in attending scheduled sessions, they are encouraged to communicate with the instructor or course coordinator as soon as possible to discuss possible accommodations or alternatives.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in adhering to our no-show policy. By ensuring attendance and active participation, we can maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all students.
